Minimum Wage Updates — Now Fully Automated
Our new Provincial Minimum Wage Automation eliminates manual updates and ensures employees and payroll instructions always reflect the correct minimum wage — automatically and accurately.
- Behind the scenes, a dedicated minimum wage rate table maintains provincial rates and historical effective dates — ensuring accuracy without ongoing manual payroll maintenance.
- No more manual wage updates. Set an employee’s hourly compensation policy to Provincial Minimum Wage Rate, and their rate will automatically update whenever their province’s minimum wage changes.
- Full visibility with built-in effective date tracking. The compensation tab displays the applicable minimum wage based on the pay period. If a rate changes mid-period, the system automatically reflects the new rate at the correct time.
- Smart payroll formulas with the new minimum wage token. Formulas can now automatically reference the correct provincial rate — even when a wage change occurs mid-period, generating split rows as needed.
- Seamless reporting updates. Key payroll and employee reports have been enhanced to pull wage data directly from the new minimum wage tables.
