Setting a Password for your User ID
When a user is invited to join the system, they will get an email with instructions for setting up a password in the system. There will be a link in the email that allows the user to setup a password, however this link expires 24 hours after it is sent.
When the user clicks on the link, they will be taken to a page where they can setup a password.
This page has a field for entering a password as well as a second field to enter the matching password.
Password Strength is evaluated and users will not we able to save if the password is weak.
The password requirements are shown on the page. Passwords must be at least 8 characters and include 3 of:
lowercase letters
uppercase letters
numbers
symbols
Once they have entered their password, they will receive confirmation that the password was created successfully. They will also see their user id in the dialog. A link is provided to return to the login page and login for the first time.
